"The on country collection"

This collection of paintings speaks of the places I have been and seen.  When I paint my surrounds, I am paying homage to the country that fills my soul. 

Oil on Aluminium 

  I have been working with oil paints on aluminium panels for over 15 years. The innovative use of this sub straight in a fine art environment has required a great deal of research and development. 

The final product today is totally archival, sealed to protect the aluminium and the painted surface.  So versatile, these works can hang outside in a covered, outdoor living area. 

Unlike stretched canvas and Linen, Aluminium is not at risk of tearing, cracking or puckering.  The paint sits on the surface of the metal retaining it gloss and intensity.
